At Munhall, we pride ourselves on creating a culture of continuous learning, with our students being the fabric of our school community. Each day our students are confronted with rigorous, engaging learning, which requires problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, innovation and a growth mindset. It is a primary commitment of our staff to foster a safe environment where learning and integrity prevail.

Knowing the awesome responsibility that lies before us, the staff takes initiative in extending their own learning through continuous professional development. Our students, technology, best practices are ever-changing, so it is critical for our staff to enthusiastically grow their own efficacy. The Munhall staff embraces this learning journey, so they are well-equipped to meet the needs of our students.

A key component attributed to our school’s success is the involvement of our parent community. Our excellent, student-centered PTO organizes numerous events each year to bring families into our school community, while supporting the greater St. Charles community. Our parent volunteers support and enhance the student experience and serve as additional role models for our students. The success of our school is interconnected with the commitment and involvement of our parents.
