Physical Education

At Munhall, we believe in a safe, respectful, and caring environment where students can learn life skills and activities that promote success and lifelong wellness.

Physical Education is an essential component of a child's education. It is not recess or simply a time to play. The physical education classroom is on e of the best environments for developing kinesthetic awareness, promoting personal wellness, and fostering creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. Children are encouraged to develop positive attitudes about themselves and about physical activity so that they choose to be physically active throughout their lives.

Having tennis shoes at school on the days your child has physical education is critical for participation. Please check with your child to see which days they are scheduled to have their physical education class.
